Lonar is the Moon Spirit of the Lanu Spirits and the most powerful one. He had his orb, the Moon Orb, hidden in a box as a trap for people, and this trick worked for Mario. Luigi decided to repay the favor Mario had done for him while Luigi had been corrupted by Crystore, and Mario, having been freed from Lonar's grasp, was knocked unconcious.
He later appeared to be freed along with the other Lanu Spirits in Part 9.
He will appear in Kiddy Stoppers: The Movie and corrupt MarioFan14 and be freed by LuigiLuigi573.
Trivia[]
- It is possible that Balgar and Lonar have a rivalry because Star and Moon are near opposites, and Lonar seems willing to do much for Novuscurous, while Balgar is the most peaceful spirit.
- Coincidentally, their true forms are the only two that look exactly the same other than color differences.
